The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit

The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit

Scriptural Text

Rom 16:13-16

Acts 2:1-4

Acts 10:38

For God to open one’s heart is a miracle. People may come to church and may not be converted. Conversion means a regenerated heart or transformed heart.

A heart that is not transformed may be insensitive. When your heart becomes converted, you become sensitive to the Holy Spirit. What grieves the Holy Spirit grieves you.

The Baptism in Acts 16 is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

If you are conscious of God’s Presence, you will hate sin, your attitude towards the things of God will change, You will love God, yourself and people more. If you love yourself, you will be able to love people.

Anyone with low self-esteem will be very quick to judge others and be easily offended. And when offense is in you, you will block all your blessings.

One of the ways God builds, His servants, is to put a temptation right in their houses. Ministry is God putting you in a position where your faith is being tested.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is different from being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

When you are baptized, you will not be still again. It is a state whereby you become a Mobile Power House and this Power is irrevocable.

The experience of baptism goes along with consecration. Consecration means Set Apart. You will lose your life in order to gain it.  Friends will leave you; things you value will leave you.

We must desire the baptism of the Holy Spirit, because it will stop all unholy noises.

Our hearts must be given to Jesus Christ. It must become a home for the Lord.

When you are baptized with the Holy Spirit, you will not just have Power over sin but have Power to help others.
