Submission Unto God

Submission Unto God

Scriptural Text

James 4:1-10

1 Thess 1:5

Rom 12:1

Psalm 92:12-14

The Spirit of pride is an evil tendency. God will oppose the proud but will give grace to the humble.

Anyone that is proud is foolish. It takes divine strength to be humble.

The bible calls disobedient children, children of pride, children of pride are also full of anger and jealousy.

Pride can make people fight and kill to get their way.

God is a God of motive, a God of hearts. He looks at the motive in the hearts of men and if He sees that the motive is right, He will give you what you are asking for.

Humility is not being ugly or looking dirty, we must keep our bodies, we must love ourselves in balanced way. Love God and love others. If you don’t love yourself, you will grumble against God and hate others and be jealous of them.

You are a beautiful person. You are holy and blameless before God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

We must submit our will to God. A person filled with quarrels and fights, is not likely to hear God.

We have the seed of greatness in us. The fruit of the Spirit will not grow until we die to self.

No witch can bewitch you unless you open the door.

When an offender realizes he has offended, that is the first stage of healing and forgiveness.

Be proactive, take responsibility for what is wrong in your life.

God is allowing pressures in our lives so that we can grow.

God wants to speak to you. He wants to fellowship with you, but you must submit to Him first.

We are righteous before God in Christ Jesus, even when we commit sin, ask God to forgive you and move on with your life.

Don’t worry about things you can’t help, He only will and can totally deliver.

Pride is to see yourself above who you are. It is to see things out of proportion. It will make you get unnecessarily angry. It will also make you trivialize sacred things. It will never make you submit to authorities you are under.
