The Lord Longs To Restore His People

The Lord Longs To Restore His People

Scriptural Text

Joel 2: 18 -32

Behold in the Bible means What God wants to do for you now. Locusts is a very bad sign! It means bareness and desolation.

Some people’s lives is that of a leaf eaten by locusts. Nothing to show.

Today, God wants to destroy the locusts Himself. They come in large numbers in order to destroy.

God will allow locusts in our lives when we disobey. But in the midst of our tribulations, when we repent, He will himself remove these locusts.

Stubbornness in heart can deafen one’s physical ears, but when stubbornness leaves, the ears will pop open.

When God allows certain things to happen to us, He is drawing our attention to things He wants to deliver us from.

People’s hearts can become darkened as a result of unrepentant sins.To overcome bad habits, we must stop feeding them. Everybody gets angry. Anger has 4 degrees and when it gets to the fourth degree, one begins to hear things like “Why don’t you end it all?”

Anger is a state where you are not able to control yourself.

Demons are beggarly creatures. When you say in the name of Jesus, every knee must bow down and tongues confess that Jesus is Lord. These demons actually confess this truth.

Do everything you are able to resist the devil. One of the things people of God suffer when they sin is shame. But God is jealous over you and will remove every shame from your life.

When God calls people, He convicts them that they are called. If you perceive the call of God upon your life, don’t ever give up. Always say, “Lord I don’t fully understand what is going on in my life but I’m trusting you and I know it you will make it plain”.

The promises in Joel 2: 18 – 32 are yours. If you agree with God and cooperate with the Holy Spirit, you will never experience shame again.
