The Soul Or Mind Of The Real Man (Part 3)

The Soul Or Mind Of The Real Man (Part 3)

Scriptural Text

2 Cor 10:3-5

Acts 10: 38

Ephesians 6:11,16

Fiery darts or flaming missiles are thoughts that are shot by the devil into one’s mind. Accumulation of their fiery darts can be imaginations and these imaginations when dwelt on, they will form images.

The war we fight are not with physical weapons but we use the word of God to demolish spiritual strongholds. When you begin to use the word of God for spiritual warfare, you will begin to see spiritual strongholds falling.

When we cast down every imagination, reasoning and arguments and bring them into captivity to the obedience of Christ, things will happen. The flesh will listen to what the Spirit says.

Once you speak the word of God from your hearts, whatever you speak will begin to happen. The swiftness, at which things happen, is like the speed of lightening.

Anything that does not glorify God in your heart, use the blood of Jesus to wash your mind immediately.

2 Cor 10:3 talks about us walking in, but not warring in, the flesh.

Strongholds are imaginations that have taken roots in the lives of people.

When you are baptized in the Holy Ghost and power, there will be a disconnect from the realm where all sort of things happen, that is the old nature. You will experience an uprooting in you. You will have power over sin.

The reason for baptism of the Holy Spirit is for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry. You will become uncomfortable with sin.

This baptism is an experience of a lifetime. Anytime you want to go beyond your bounds, you will experience a block.

When one is baptized with the Holy Ghost, he will go about doing good (Acts. 10:38). They will be unstoppable.

When you are going through peculiar problems, God has a purpose for you, but you must endure with perseverance.

ATTENDANCE:

34 patients were present in today’s fellowship.

SPECIAL PRAYERS

  • 2 patients have issues of bitterness and rejection with their family members, and pastor prayed for them for peace to be restored in their families.
  • Pastor prophesied over the patients that are ready for weekend parole but not yet given, that they will receive and after their second parole, they will be discharged.

We give God all the glory for the success in today’s fellowship. Some of the old patients have already been discharged and the newly admitted areas are getting calmer. They are eager to hear the word of God because they listen with attentiveness and the word of God is working in their lives because the charge is evident not just inwardly but also in their physical appearance. Those that like to distract, don’t do so anymore. Those that like to have a corner to themselves, do not anymore. Those that like to roam about the compound, do not anymore. There’s absolute serenity in the atmosphere. We give God all the glory that the work was producing great results. Halleluyah!
